Delta Pav is a yellow dwarf much like our Sun in the constellation Pavo 19.9 ly from Earth. Its surface is about 5,433 K, about 0.9 times the Sun's surface temperature, and it shines at 1.24× the Sun's brightness. At magnitude 3.5 it is bright enough to see with the naked eye; the light you see left it 20 years ago.
